Idea for DJ School at WUVT (part 1)

So, I’m listening to WUVT from my office in Manhattan. It’s a slow day so I can record my thoughts. I’m thinking of a way to educate the radio dj’s to become better. The DJ this afternoon was playing dance music (2 step, blip, d&b, etc.) and I got to thinking – I wish she knew how to mix and blend. Let’s discuss the facts:

1. WUVT is a school radio station with an educational license

2. WUVT dj’s are students with time

3. Mixing and Blending lead to a better listening experience – in all genres and especially dance

4. Better listening experience leads to praise > leads to popularity > leads to more funding > leads to more opportunities for station
